
Battery Ventures-backed PST buys Rotronic
US-based Battery Ventures has agreed to acquire Swiss temperature and humidity management company Rotronic through its portfolio company Process Sensing Technologies.
The company will join Battery's existing process-measurement and analysis companies Michell Instruments and Analytical Industries, acquired in October 2016 and March 2017 respectively.
PST will inject additional resources into Rotronic, which will allow it to expand into new markets.

Founded in 1965, Rotronic manufactures heat and humidity sectors for the B2B sector. It is headquartered in Switzerland and now has eight subsidiaries and 42 distributors. The company recorded a turnover of CHF 49.5m in 2014, the last year public documents were available.
