
Alpina invests in New Solutions
Alpina Partners has invested an undisclosed sum in German shop-floor management software developer New Solutions.
The GP said New Solutions' software complements the product offering of its other portfolio companies in this strategy, Gefasoft and CAQ Solutions.
Alpina aims to build a larger group in the shop-floor IT space in the context of its buy-and-build "Industrie 4.0" strategy.

New Solutions was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Burghausen, Bavaria. The company develops software for production-related processes and employee management. It has a digital shiftbook application called Finito; an electronic task checklist called Checkware; and a technical asset management programme called Synoset. It also provides maintenance and consulting services.
