Kompass Digital backs Reparando
Berlin-based VC firm Kompass Digital has backed a series-A in the seven-digit range for smartphone repair service Reparando.
The extra funding will be used to expand the B2B sales and marketing effort as well as further technical development of the product.
Kompass Digital made the investment due what it described as a "repair market boom" for smartphones, which it says Reparando is well positioned to take advantage of.
Company
Founded in 2015 by three people, Reparando now employs 80 staff and operates in 20 German cities. It offers companies an on-demand, on-site repair service for its employees' devices. It repairs a range of devices including iPhones, iPads and Samsung phones and tablets.
