
BDC's Cruise.co.uk acquires Kreuzfahrtberater for €25m
Bridgepoint Development Capital-backed Cruise.co.uk has acquired Germany-based cruise travel agency Kreuzfahrtberater.de for €25m.
The newly formed group will have a turnover of around €250m. Permira and existing Kreuzfahrtberater shareholders provided further funding to finance the transaction. The founders of Kreuzfahrtberater.de will remain part of the management team of the combined business.
Bridgepoint acquired online travel agency Cruise.co.uk for £52m from Risk Capital Partners in August last year.
