
B-to-V leads €6.5m series-A for Seven Senders
B-to-V Partners has led a €6.5m series-A funding round for German logistics startup Seven Senders.
Reno Kohler, the founder of Internetstores, also participated in the round, alongside existing investors and unnamed business angels.
The company will use the funding to expand into new markets, starting with the Nordic region.
Previous funding
In January 2016, B-to-V led a seed funding round in the seven-digit range for Seven Senders. The capital was earmarked for improving IT systems and parcel monitoring.
Company
Founded in 2015 and based in Berlin, Seven Senders is a virtual carrier network for the management of parcel delivery. It has relationships with 40 European carriers, which it uses to bundle orders and save costs on deliveries for multiple online shops. Its clients include online retailers Lesara, Juniqe, Mister Spex and Westwing. It currently ships to Austria, Switzerland, France, Benelux, the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Italy and some CEE countries.
