Battery, Holtzbrinck back €10m series-A for Zeitgold
Battery Ventures and Holtzbrinck Ventures have invested €10m in finance management software Zeitgold's series-A funding round.
Both VC firms backed Zeitgold's €4.2m seed round in February and reinvested due to a technological breakthrough.
Some of the fresh capital has already been invested in a new R&D centre in Tel Aviv, where the new technology will be tested in the coming months.
Previous funding
In February 2017, Battery and Holtzbrinck invested €4.2m in Zeitgold's seed round to enable it to develop its AI technology.

Founded in 2015, Zeitgold is a Berlin-based fintech company providing financial administration services for SMEs. Zeitgold's offering encompasses accounting, bookkeeping and reconciliation of invoices, through a combination of advisers and artificial intelligence.
