KKR's SoftwareOne acquires UC Point
SoftwareOne, a KKR-backed software and cloud services company, has acquired unified enterprise communications business UC Point.
With the acquisition of UC Point, SoftwareOne believes it will be able to extend and further develop its Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams integrated products, and strengthen its presence on the market of unified communications.
SoftwareOne is a software portfolio management company that was acquired by KKR in August 2015. The GP provided growth capital and acquired a 25% equity stake in the business.
