VC firms sell Miflora to Blume 2000
A consortium of VC firms has sold Munich-based flower delivery company Miflora to Blume 2000 for an undisclosed sum.
The company's selling shareholders include Atlantic Capital Partners, HR Alpha Ventures, Heilemann Ventures, Venture Stars and Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft (BayBG).
Acquirer Blume 2000 has approximately 200 facilities in Germany, employs 1,500 people and generates revenues of more than €100m, according to its website.
Previous funding
In August 2013, Atlantic Partners along with Heilemann Ventures and HR Alpha Venture Partners co-led the company's seed round. It also had investment from startup incubator Venture Stars.
All the investors returned in December 2013 with a seven digit series-A round and were joined by BayBG in November 2014 to provide a €3m series-B.

Founded in August 2012, Miflora is a flower, present and accessories home delivery service. It sources its flowers directly from growers and aims to keep flowers fresher by avoiding the use of middlemen. The company has 26 employees.
