Creathor backs €3m funding round for Wunderflats
Creathor Venture has taken part in a €3m funding round for Berlin-based online renting platform Wunderflats.
IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft, VC Fonds Kreativwirtschaft, Econ and unnamed family offices also took part in the round.
The fresh capital will be used for further product innovation and to support the company's growth. The company said its turnover has increased by more than 60% each quarter since the beginning of 2016.
Comparable company Homelike secured a €4m funding round from Cherry Ventures and Coparion in August 2017.
Company
Wunderflats was founded by Jan Hase and Arkadi Jampolski in 2015 and is headquartered in Berlin. It offers rental of fully furnished flats through an online platform. It is aimed at professionals working abroad and claims it can save companies 40% on accommodation costs.
