AnaCap-backed Heidelpay buys MPay24

AnaCap Financial Partners portfolio company Heidelpay has acquired Vienna-based payment services provider MPay24.
It is the second bolt-on since AnaCap's original acquisition in January 2017, following the purchase of Hamburg-based Startec in October.
Both the original acquisition and the subsequent bolt-on were supported by AnaCap Financial Partners III, an €850m fund that held a final close in February 2016.
The GP said that the acquisition of an Austrian provider marked another step towards establishing a multi-jurisdiction payment solutions provider.
Company
Founded in 2001, MPay24 is a Vienna-based payment services provider primarily focused on e-commerce technical payment processing services. The e-commerce payments platform is used by 2,000 merchants in Austria.
