Capnamic leads €2.25m series-A for Acellere
Capnamic Ventures has led a €2.25m series-A funding round for Berlin-based code-checking software developer Acellere.
Business angels and unnamed industry veterans from Germany and the US also took part in the financing.
The fresh capital will be used to further research and development efforts for the existing platform. The company also said it will invest in the machine learning and AI features that power the platform's cognitive recommendation engine.

Acellere was founded in 2008 by Vishal Rai and Sudarshan Bhide. The company is headquartered in Frankfurt and develops a software analytic tool called Gamma. The software identifies, prioritises and implements fixes for problems in code.
