Project A in €3m funding round for Opinary
Berlin-based VC firm Project A has led a €3m funding round for consumer data company Opinary.
Existing investors Global Founders Capital (GFC), Motu Ventures and several business angels, including Trivago CEO Rolf Schrömgens, also participated in the round.
Florian Heinemann, a founding partner at Project A, has joined Opinary's board.
The fresh capital will be used to further develop the technology with the aim of reaching 100 million users per month.
Company
Founded in 2016 and based in Berlin, Opinary is a platform that collects users' opinions about online content. The company then uses this data to help publishers and brands to better understand their audiences and target their campaigns.
Opinary already partners with an international network of publishers including NBC, the Times, the Guardian, the Independent, HuffPost, Spiegel Online and Bild.
