VC firms invest €25m in Geld-für-Flug
A consortium of VC firms has taken part in a €25m funding round for Düsseldorf-based legal technology company Geld-für-Flug.
Hannover-based Seed + Speed Ventures has participated in the financing alongside Luxembourg-based EPI and an unnamed Swiss private equity firm.
The fresh capital will be used to expand the company, which is considering both new geographies and new areas of law, according to press reports.

Founded in May 2017 by Phillip Eischet and Benedikt Quarch, Geld-für-Flug is a legal technology company that assists customers with cancelling flights and claiming compensation. The company uses an automated questionnaire and application process to cut down on the legal work required.
