HV Holtzbrinck leads €3.4m round for Productive Mobile
German VC firm HV Holtzbrinck Ventures has led a €3.4m funding round for Berlin-based automation software startup Productive Mobile.
The round included participation from Hans Georg Näder, CEO of the Ottobock group.
With the fresh seed funding, Productive Mobile intends to bring the company's product to the wider market. It currently has customers in the automotive, insurance, energy and pharmaceutical sectors.
Company
Established in 2014 and headquartered in Berlin, Productive Mobile builds software for automating certain human processes but not completely replacing them. The field is known as Human Process Augmentation (HPA) and is intended to help companies make simple applications for various tasks. The approach differs from Robotic Process Automation (RPA), which automates repetitive tasks.
