
Creandum leads €6m series-B for Careship
Swedish VC firm Creandum has led a €6m series-B funding round for healthcare professional sourcing application Careship.
Munich-based Ananda Ventures also took part in the round as well as series-A investors Spark Capital and Christoph Maire of Atlantic Labs.
The fresh capital will be used to roll out the service in further German cities and regions, with eventual plans for international expansion.

Spark led a $4m funding round for Careship in January 2017.

Founded in 2015, Careship is an online service that helps families find the right caregiver for their loved ones. It gives families easy access to qualified personnel, using a matchmaking algorithm, while advising on insurance benefits to increase the quality of life of senior citizens. The firm was founded by siblings Antonia and Nikolaus Albert after they could not find suitable care for their own grandmother. The company is based in Berlin, Germany.
