Gilde Healthcare’s Rad-X buys TelradKo
Gilde Healthcare portfolio company Rad-X has acquired German teleradiology services company Teleradiologisches Zentrum Koblenz (TelradKo).
The acquisition will provide TelradKo with fresh capital to accelerate its expansion and develop its technology.
Gilde initially acquired Paris-headquartered Rad-X in September 2016 and has supported its growth in France as well as making bolt-on acquisitions to its existing facilities in Switzerland and Germany.
The GP provided fresh equity for Rad-X’s acquisition of Swiss imaging provider Swiss Medical Imaging Investment in February 2018, drawing equity from Gilde Healthcare Services II fund, which remains the group's majority shareholder.
Rad-X now employs more than 350 people in hospitals and imaging centres across France, Switzerland and Germany.

TelradKo was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Koblenz. It provides teleradiology services to hospitals and imaging centres across Germany.
