
Investcorp launches dental buy-and-build
Investcorp has launched a new buy-and-build strategy in the German dental sector with the acquisition of Acura Kliniken Albstadt and Privatzahnklinik Schloss Schellenstein (PSS).
In total, the new group will employ approximately 250 people at its two locations. Acura is a licensed hospital with around 210 employees, whereas PSS is a dental surgery that employs 40 people.
The GP plans to build a "sizeable" dental business in Germany, through the acquisition of further practices.

Acura is a licensed hospital based in Albstadt, in Baden-Württemberg. The hospital offers a range of acute and rehabilitative treatments, from orthopaedics to accident and emergency. It employs 210 people and has capacity for 125 patients in total.
PSS was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Olsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia. Led by Fouad Khoury, the centre for implantology and dental surgery employs 40 people.
