Insight Venture Partners has led an $18.8m series-C funding round for book summary application Blinkist.
Existing investors Greycroft, IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft and EVentures also took part in the financing.
The fresh capital will be used to expand the company's Berlin-based team, hire country managers for individual markets and scale its international customer base.
The application is currently available in English and German but the company has plans to offer the service in additional languages.
