VisVires New Protein Capital et al. back Mitte
A consortium of investors has injected $10.6m into Germany-based startup Mitte, a water purification and enhancement system developer.
Singaporean food-focused VC VisVires New Protein Capital, Danone corporate VC arm Manifesto Ventures and German corporate VC Kärcher New Venture contributed to the round.
The seed funding will support Mitte in its engineering efforts to bring its offer to the market, as well as in its recruitment efforts.
Company
Founded in 2015 and initially called Himmelwasser, the Berlin-based startup develops a home-use water purification and enhancement system. Mitte aims to produce drinking water up to 60 times cleaner than traditional filters and enhances it with natural minerals. Mitte currently employs 26 people.
