
BWK backs Just Spices
German private equity house BWK has backed Düsseldorf-headquartered Just Spices, a domestic supplier of spice mixtures.
With BWK on board as a new investor, Just Spices plans to continue its growth strategy, both in the online retail sector and in the food retail sector. It notably intends to focus on internationalisation.
BWK specialises in management buyouts, buy-ins, and growth capital investments. It typically invests between €5-70m in medium-sized companies with a minimum turnover of €15m.

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Düsseldorf, Just Spices is a domestic supplier of spice mixtures. It was founded by current shareholders and managing directors Florian Falk, Bela Seebach and Ole Strohschnieder. Just Spices sells its portfolio of around 200 products via its own online shop and food retailers, and also supplies corporate customers. It employs a staff of 90.
