
Invision backs ABC Design
Invision Private Equity has acquired a majority stake in ABC Design, a German manufacturer of strollers, prams, buggies and high chairs for children.
The company's founders, the Fischer family, retained a significant minority stake and will stay on with the business.
ABC Design intends to use the fresh capital to further strengthen its market position in Germany and boost its expansion into new markets abroad.
Invision has recently launched its sixth fund, Invision VI, with a target of €375m. The vehicle intends to make 10-12 investments in DACH-based companies operating in the consumer, healthcare, technology and industrial sectors that generate annual revenues of €25-200m. The fund provides equity tickets of between €25-45m and invests in buyouts, minority acquisitions and growth capital transactions.
