Sequoia leads $24m series-B for Tourlane
Sequoia Capital has led a $24m series-B funding round for Berlin-based travel booking platform Tourlane.
Existing investors Spark Capital, Holtzbrinck Ventures and DN Capital also took part in the latest financing.
Tourlane intends to use the fresh capital for international expansion and further product development. This will involve recruiting 100 additional employees.
Previous funding
Holtzbrinck, NFQ and other business angels provided €1.6m in seed funding to Tourlane in 2016.
Holtzbrinck was joined by Spark and DN in March 2018 to invest a further €7m in the company's series-A.

Founded in 2016 and based in Berlin, Tourlane has developed an online travel booking platform. It helps customers choose a destination, book flights and accommodation, and offers assistance during the journey. The company currently employs 120 people.
