
VC firms back €6m series-A for Wandelbots
A consortium of investors including EQT Ventures and Paua Ventures has backed a €6m series-A funding round for German robot programming company Wandelbots.
Existing investors, including entrepreneur Felix Haas, Christian Dahlen and Atlantic Labs also took part in the latest round.
The fresh capital will be used to bolster the company’s international expansion plans, especially in China.
Previous funding
Atlantic Labs led a seed round for Wandelbots in December 2017; private investor Christian Dahlen also took part in the financing.
Company
Wandelbots was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Dresden. The company develops software and hardware to make it easier to programme robots for industrial uses. Its clients include Volkwagen, Infineon and Midea.
