
Endeit Capital, EnBW lead €7m series-A for Gridscale
Endeit Capital, EnBW New Ventures, EnjoyVenture and High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) participated in the €7m series-A funding round for web hosting service provider Gridscale.
Endeit is currently investing from its Endeit Fund II, which closed on €125m in 2016.
HTGF is currently investing from its High-Tech Gründerfonds III venture fund, which closed on €316m in 2016. The company normally invests between €500,000-3m in companies founded less than three years ago.
The capital will be used to expand Gridscale's range of applications and services, improve technology and enable international expansion.
Previous funding
EnjoyVenture invested €145,000 in Gridscale in an angel round that took place in 2014.
HTGF led a seed round for an undisclosed sum in 2016. EnjoyVenture also participated.

Headquartered in Cologne, Gridscale is a cloud-based, infrastructure-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service provider. The company was founded in 2014 and employs approximately 30 people. It counts Controlware, Komsa, Butlers and Karlsruher Verkehrsbetriebe as clients.
