Finexx acquires Sicko
Stuttgart-based buyout firm Finexx has acquired a majority stake in woodworking software company Sicko.
Through a repurchase, owners Carl and Jochen Sicko remain shareholders and will continue to be managing directors.
Finexx used its Finexx Fund I, which closed on €35m in November 2018. This is the firm's second investment after the acquisition of GSE Vertrieb Biologische Nahrungsergänzung & Heilmittel in December 2018. It makes equity investments of €5-20m in companies from a range of sectors.
Following the acquisition, the company plans to continue to professionalise and expand its capacities, workforce and partnerships. Sicko generates sales of more than €7m and expects double-digit sales growth for the current year.
The transaction has already been completed.

Based in Zaisenhausen in Baden-Württemberg, Sicko develops software for the digitalisation and automation of processes in the woodworking industry.
