Auctus buys QuinScape with new fund
Auctus Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in IT service QuinScape.
Equity for the investment will be drawn from the firm's Auctus V vehicle, which has not yet held a first close and has a target of €250m. This will be the fund's first investment. Auctus acquires majority stakes in small and medium-sized businesses in DACH that generate sales of €10-150m.
QuinScape's management team has reinvested in the company.
The deal was sourced through Auctus's proprietary network and will be a large, stand-alone buy-and-build platform for the fund, according to Auctus CEO and managing partner Ingo Krocke.
The company plans to make several acquisitions with the financing and expand into other German-speaking countries.
Company
Founded in 2001, QuinScape employs 150 people and is headquartered in Dortmund. The company offers data analytics and software development services.
