One Peak Partners et al. invest €15m in Quentic
One Peak Partners and Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital have invested €15m in a funding round for environmental management software company Quentic.
One Peak Partners' sweet spot for equity investments ranges from €5-50m.
The fresh capital will be used to support growth, open more European offices and develop the company's platform.
Previous funding
In 2008, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) led a €575,000 round of early-stage funding for EcoIntense, as the company was then known. Further funding came from Berliner Business Angels Fonds.
One Peak Partners and Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital also led a €22m funding round for the company. The transaction constituted an exit for investors Berliner Business Angels Fonds and family office Wecken & Cie, while HTGF retained a significant stake in the business.
Company
Headquartered in Berlin, Quentic develops environmental management software. The platform consists of eight modules that can be purchased in any combination, including health & safety, risks & audits, hazardous materials, legal compliance, online instructions, processes, environmental management, and sustainability.
The company claims to have more than 600 enterprise clients and has regional offices and partners in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Finland and the US. Quentic was founded in 2007 and employs more than 200 people.
