
Riverside backs Actineo
The Riverside Company has invested in insurance technology provider Actineo.
Riverside is currently investing from Riverside Europe Fund V, which closed on $340m in 2017. The fund invests €10-25m in equity in companies with an EBITDA of less than €25m.
Following the transaction, the company plans to follow a growth strategy to diversify into other areas of insurance to become the largest technology provider to the industry.

Actineo is a provider of IT and data services, including digitalisation, invoice checking and predictive analysis for bodily injury claims to insurance providers in Germany. The company claims to have 50 insurers as clients. Founded in 2009 and based in Cologne, the company employs 150 people.
