
Target Global, IGP lead €50m series-C for McMakler
Target Global and Israel Growth Partners (IGP) have led a €50m series-C funding round for online real estate agency McMakler.
Target Global is currently investing from its Target Global Early Stage Fund I, which held its first close on an undisclosed amount in 2017. Existing investor Frog Capital also participated in the round.
The company took out more than €10m in debt financing alongside the investment.
The capital will be invested in McMakler's transactions platform, technology and digital tools, and will also go towards increasing its headcount.
Previous funding
In 2015, Piton Capital along with Lakestar, Heilemann Ventures, DN Capital, Target Global, Earlybird, Warpspeed and Mutschler Ventures provided a €1m seed investment.
Frog Capital, Lakestar, Mutschler and Cavalry Ventures participated in an €8.5m series-A funding round for the company in 2016.
Frog led a €16m series-B in 2017, in which Piton, Mutschler and Cavalry also participated.

Founded in 2015, McMakler now employs 450 people, 255 of whom are regional real estate agents. Based in Berlin, the company provides online real estate brokerage services. The site's transaction volume reached €400m in 2018.
