
Insight leads $23m series-C for Staffbase
Insight Partners has led a $23m series-C funding round for Chemnitz-based employee communication software developer Staffbase.
Existing investors Capnamic Ventures, Kizoo Technology Capital and E.Ventures also took part in the round.
Staffbase is aiming to disrupt existing workplace communication tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, according to a statement.
Previous funding
Kizoo led a seed round for Staffbase in 2015 and was joined by Capnamic a year later for a €2m series-A.
E.Ventures joined the syndicate in 2018, leading a $10m series-B.

Staffbase was founded in 2014 in Chemnitz, Germany, and is now headquartered in New York. It develops a workplace communication application with a focus on remote working. The company employs 200 people across seven locations.
