
Yabeo, IBB, Atlantic Labs sell stakes in Dentolo to trade
The German subsidiary of Zurich Insurance Group, Zurich Group Germany, has wholly acquired dental technology platform Dentolo, with venture investors Yabeo Capital, Atlantic Labs and IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft selling their stakes in the company.
Zurich acquired the company to strengthen its subsidiary DA Direkt. The company will act as a cooperation partner for DA Direkt and will continue to operate as an independent brand.
Previous funding
Atlantic Labs first invested in the company in 2016. Business angel Sebastian Herfurth also participated.
Yabeo Capital led a €3m seed funding round for Dentolo in 2017. IBB, Atlantic Labs and Axel Springer also took part in the round along with business angels from the insurance industry.

Founded in 2015, Dentolo is an insurance technology platform focused on the medical and dental industry. Based in Berlin, the company has a network of more than 500 dental partners in Germany and employs around 25 people.
