HTGF et al. backs Zahnarzt-Helden
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and several other investors have invested in dental equipment purchasing platform Zahnarzt-Helden.
Technologiefonds Owl, managed by Enjoy Venture, and several business angels also invested in the funding round.
HTGF is currently investing from its High-Tech Gründerfonds III fund. The vehicle held a final close on €316.5m in May 2018. It makes initial investments of €1-3m in German technology startups that are less than three years old.
Technologiefonds Owl closed on €13.3m in 2017 and writes equity cheques of about €1.5m.
The fresh capital will go towards building an online platform on which the information necessary for purchasing a dental device is bundled and displayed independently.

In addition to financing options, the company offers long-term renting. The company has a subscription model for dental equipment and technical services. Based in Bielefeld and founded in 2017, the company employs 20.
