
Trilantic Europe's Oberberg makes two acquisitions
Trilantic Europe portfolio company Oberberg Gruppe has acquired mental health clinics Panorama Kliniken and Jägerwinkel Privatklinik.
Oberberg is a Trilantic Captal Partners V Europe portfolio company. The vehicle closed on €900m in 2015 and was fully deployed as of 2017.
The firm acquired Oberberg from Odewald & Compagnie in 2017. These acquisitions are the company's second and third bolt-ons since Trilantic Europe's initial investment.
Oberberg made the acquisitions to further expand into southern Germany and strengthen its position in the sector.
Trilantic Europe has stated that it will continue to support the growth strategy of the platform, including the opening of new facilities and further acquisitions.
The acquisition of Jägerwinkel was announced in August and is expected to close in September and the acquisition of Panormama has closed.
Company
Panorama includes Privatklinik Hubertus and Panorama Fachklinik. The company is based in Scheidegg. The mental health clinics offer diagnosis and treatment courses that normally last four to six weeks.
Jägerwinkel is based in Bad Wiessee and was founded in 2004. It offers a variety of treatments including for orthopaedics, psychosomatic medicine and pain management.
