
Waterland launches buy-and-build with acquisition of Netgo
Waterland Private Equity has acquired a majority stake in Borken-based IT system provider Netgo to launch a new buy-and-build strategy.
Founders Patrick Kruse and Benedikt Kisner will remain in their positons at the helm of the business and retain a significant stake.
Waterland said in a statement that the IT services market is extremely fragmented with more than 1,000 operators in Germany while the market continues to grow at 10% annually.
The company plans to expand its geographic offering as well as its product offering with Waterland’s support.

Netgo was founded in 2007 and provides a range of IT services to its 3,000 customers including hosting, infrastructure, communication and analytics. It employs 350 people at 17 locations.
