Santander InnoVentures et al. back €35m CrossLend series-B
Santander InnoVentures has led a €35m series-B round for German digital lending marketplace CrossLend, alongside a number of venture capital investors.
The round also included funding from existing investors Lakestar, ABN Amro Ventures and Earlybird.
The potential for strategic collaboration between Santander and CrossLend was a key driver behind the investment, the bank said in a statement.
Earlybird, ABN Amro's Digital Impact Fund and SolarisBank invested in a previous €14m round in 2018. They were joined at that time by existing investors including the Luxembourg Future Fund and Lakestar.
