Aurelius buys Woodward's RPS and protection relay businesses
Aurelius has acquired the Germany- and Poland-based renewable power systems (RPS) and protection relay businesses of US-headquartered Woodward.
Aurelius said in a statement that it will assist the companies in expanding their product and service offerings.
Aurelius invests in special situations and corporate carve-outs in mid-market companies. It generally deploys equity cheques of €5-80m for majority stakes in companies reporting revenues of €100m-1bn. It targets transaction values of up to around €250m.
In December 2019, Aurelius conducted another corporate carve-out in the DACH region, acquiring Distrelec and Nedis from Dätwyler Group, as reported by Unquote.
Aurelius declined to comment.
