Waterland's Tineo bolts on Netrics
It service Tineo, a portfolio company of Waterland, has acquired Switzerland-based workplace cloud and digitalisation consultancy company Netrics.
Netrics' management will remain in place in the new group, according to a statement.
Waterland bought a majority stake in Tineo in September 2018 and aimed to pursue a buy-and-build strategy in the Swiss IT consultancy market.
In November 2019, Tineo acquired Swiss market peer Nexellent.
The combined companies will have 100 employees, according to a statement. Waterland expects that the company will see short-term growth in sales due to the increase in companies' digitalisation needs in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as long-term growth.

Netrics assists companies with workplace digitalisation through the installations of cloud-based networks, including public and private cloud, managed services and SAP-based services. Its client base includes real estate agents, healthcare providers and e-commerce companies, according to its website. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Biel, Netrics has 60 employees.
