Silver Investment Partners-backed Alvara bolts on IT Kompetenz
Cash management software producer Alvara, a portfolio company of Silver Investment Partners, has acquired Hamburg-based cash logistics and management software developer IT Kompetenz.
Silver Investment Partners supported the bolt-on with additional equity and via an existing acquisition financing line.
SIP backed Alvara's MBO in October 2018, acquiring a majority stake in the company. SIP invests in companies with revenues of €5-30m with an EV of up to €30m, making equity investments of €2-15m. The firm raises capital on a deal-by-deal basis.
The GP supported the company's acquisition of Zeiser Group in May 2019.
