Invision's Schneider to buy Apriori Transport & Logistics

Invision bought a majority stake in Schneider Group in November 2016, deploying equity via its fifth fund, which held a final close in July 2013 on €285m. Schneider reported revenues of €150m in 2014.

The deal is Schneider's second bolt-on of 2020; in May 2020, the company bought Switzerland-based logistics services Nova Traffic.

Unquote sister publication Mergermarket reported in December 2018 that Invison had mandated Lincoln International to advise on the sale of Schneider. A subsequent report said that in April 2019, an undisclosed bidder had acquired a stake in the business.

Invision had not responded to a request for comment at the time of publication.

Apriori provides logistics, transport and supply chain management services, as well as related consultancy. Founded in 2014, Apriori is based in Wangen im Allgäu, Baden-Württemberg, and has distribution sites in Betzigau and Biessenhofen.
