
Aurelius to acquire majority stake in DetailM
Aurelius is to acquire a 65.62% stake in Germany-based digital and online marketing business DetailM, according to a filing with the Austrian competition authority.
DetailM was formed by majority owner Arcus Capital in 2018 via the merger of portfolio companies Belboon and Seo2b. Arcus acquired Belboon in 2014 and Seo2b in 2018. Seo2b managing directors Timo Abid and Valentin Hertfelder acquired stakes in DetailM and continued to manage the business, along with Belboon managing director Björn Wendler.
Aheim Capital also invested in the newly formed company, according to a statement from Arcus issued at the time.
A spokesperson for Arcus told Unquote that the transaction is expected to be completed in August 2020 and added that the GP will provide further information at a later stage.
Aurelius and Aheim had not returned requests for comment at the time of publication.

Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Berlin, DetailM comprises marketing agencies Belboon and Seo2b. It assists companies with performance and content marketing, as well as search engine optimisation and brand monitoring. The company has particular expertise in e-commerce, according to its website, and has 64 employees.
