Pentapart buys Westiform Germany from insolvency
Pentapart Beteiligungskapital has acquired Germany-based signage company Westiform after the business filed for administration in October 2019.
The company cited an unexpected fall in sales in its insolvency filing with the Offenburg district court, in particular due to a fall in demand for automotive industry clients.
Dirk Pehl of law firm Schulze & Braun was appointed as insolvency administrator for the company, which is a subsidiary of Switzerland-based Westiform Group.
The deal will retain 140 of the company's 220 staff.
Pentapart makes long-term investments in small- and medium-sized businesses in the DACH region, investing as part of succession solutions, restructurings or special situations. Managing partner Christian Dreser will join Westiform as a managing director.
