Nordic Alpha Partners et al. in $14m round for DyeMansion
Nordic Alpha Partners has backed a $14m series-B round for Germany-based 3D printing company DyeMansion, alongside the company's existing investors UVC Partners, BtoV Partners, KGAL and AM Ventures.
BtoV is investing via its Industrial Technologies Fund, which held a final close in October 2019 on €100m. The fund makes initial investments of €1-3m, but can invest up to €10m per business.
DyeMansion plans to use the fresh funding to develop its digital manufacturing platform, as well as fund its international expansion and meet the demand for its product.
Previous funding
In September 2018, BtoV, AM Ventures and Unternehmertum Venture Capital invested $5m in the company.

DyeMansion develops 3D printing technology that it claims can convert raw plastic parts into products that can be used in the assembly of products such as eyewear and car interiors. The company currently has 600 customers, according to a statement, including BMW and Daimler. DyeMansion was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Planegg, Bavaria. It has 67 employees, according to LinkedIn.
