
DPE's AWK Group buys Talos
IT consultancy AWK Group, a portfolio company of Deutsche Private Equity (DPE), has acquired financial and digitalisation service Talos Management Consultants.
The combined companies will generate revenues of CHF 90m, according to a statement. AWK reported revenues of CHF 52m when DPE invested in the business in 2017.
AWK's services currently include digital transformation, data analytics and cybersecurity, and the acquisition of Talos is intended to expand its offering in the financial services sector.
DPE acquired a 55% stake in AWK in December 2017, investing via DPE Deutschland III, which closed on its hard-cap of €575m in January 2017.

Talos provides financial management consultancy services, including the implementation of regulatory requirements, as well as the optimisation of business, control and procurement processes. The company also assists clients with IT and digitalisation projects. Founded in 2008, Talos employs 30 people and is based in Zurich.
