
QVM Privatkapital acquires Aachener Maschinenbau
QVM Privatekapital has acquired Germany-based industrial machinery producer Aachener Maschinenbau (Amba).
The sale was conducted via a structured auction process led by Sonntag Corporate Finance.
QVM said in a statement that the GP intends to plan for the company's succession and handover alongside its management. The GP also intends to assist the company with expansion into international markets.
Hamburg-headquartered QVM generally invests in profitable Mittelstand companies with revenues of €5-75m.
Company
Amba manufactures industrial machinery for the production of long screws and bicycle spokes. The company also supplies spare parts for these machines, and provides service and maintenance for its clients. Headquartered in Alsdorf and founded in 1908, the company employs 75 people.
