Auctus acquires majority stake in Elplan
Auctus Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in Elplan, a Germany-based business providing technical building planning services.
The GP said in a statement that it plans to pursue a buy-and-build strategy in the technical building engineering and planning sector in the DACH region. Auctus said in the same statement that it considers construction digitalisation and the trend towards more holistic planning approaches to be drivers for consolidation in the market.
The GP held a final close for Auctus V in October 2019 on €250m. The vehicle aims to make 20-25 platform investments in total, focusing on non-cyclical companies in the DACH region with revenues of €10-150m.
