Syz, Saturnus buy SK Pharma
Syz Capital, the alternative assets arm of financial services firm Syz Group, and private equity firm Saturnus Capital have bought German pharmaceutical wholesaler SK Pharma.
The company has grown at a compound annual growth rate of 28% in the past three years, Syz Capital stated. The GP expects further growth from a tighter regulatory environment in the future.
Mark Syz, managing partner at Syz, said in a statement that the investor would help SK Pharma grow organically and with acquisitions to consolidate a fragmented sector.
Syz is investing alongside Saturnus Capital, which invests in German or Swiss SMEs with more than EUR 10m in revenues and EBITDA margins above 10%.
Saturnus has investments in legal outsourcing services company Perconex Group, B2B packing solutions provider WAG Group, precision optics company Optoflux, and SDV Group, which provides omnichannel dialogue marketing.
Company
SK Pharma is specialised in storing, handling, repackaging and distributing pharmaceutical products, as well as cosmetics and dietary products. The company was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Bielefeld, Germany.
