
Arcus acquires majority stake in Intercontent
Arcus Capital has acquired a majority stake in Intercontent, a Berlin-based technological solutions company specialised in the field of mobile marketing, seeking to further develop its business model and partner network.
Founders Mirko Jurschik and Alexander Tavdidischwili are to retain a significant stake in the business, according to a press release.
As Intercontent operates a technology platform that serves ads from affiliate networks and online retailers to mobile users, it aims to make greater use of the potential offered by international business, according to the press release.
With the acquisition, the Munich-based GP expands its existing portfolio of industrial, media, online and consumer goods companies, while following its strategy of investing in high-growth companies with a market leading position.
Arcus invests its own capital and the capital of selected co-investors. Its portfolio currently consists of industrial, media and online companies with a total turnover of around EUR 300m, according to the press release.
In October 2022, the GP sold its stake in Germany-based baby and children’s wear company Lässig to Ambienta, Unquote sister publication Mergermarket reported. The exit followed a sale process run by Ox8 Corporate finance, as reported.

Its business model is based on the proprietary and automated technology platform that provides end users direct access to online shops. The company currently employs 11 people and has recorded strong sales growth in recent years, according to the press release.
