HTGF offloads Magazino
High Tech Gründerfonds has sold its shares in logistics technology producer Magazino to Siemens Novel Businesses.
HTGF and business angels first backed the company in May 2014 with a seed financing round. Magazino set out to develop its first product, a picking and storing robot that can be used in pharmacies. The company plans the development of further products for the logistics sector.

Founded in 2014, Munich-based technology startup Magazino develops robotic technology for the logistics industry. It products are designed to measure and recognise objects with 3D cameras and to select individual items from shelves or containers.

Benjamin Erhart is senior investment manager and Andreas Olmes is investment director at HTGF. Rudolf Freytag is CEO of Siemens Innovative Ventures. Frederik Brantner, Lukas Zanger and Nikolas Engelhard are the founders of Magazino.
