
Phenomen Ventures backs Delivery Hero
Russian VC Phenomen Ventures has led a $30m series-D financing round for Delivery Hero, an online food ordering platform.
Existing investors also participated in the round. Delivery Hero's investors include Team Europe, Kite Ventures, ru-Net, Tengelmann Ventures, Holtzbrinck Ventures, Point Nine Capital and Kreos Capital.
The fresh capital will be used to expand within existing markets and to further innovation.
Delivery Hero is one of Phenomen's largest investments to date. Phenomen has previously backed Fab.com, OneTwoTrip, Hailo and several other technology companies.

Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Berlin, Delivery Hero is a global network of online food ordering sites with more than 35,000 restaurants connected to its service, active across 14 international markets.
Delivery Hero operates in Sweden, Finland, Poland, Austria, Germany, the UK, Denmark, Russia, Australia, Switzerland, South Korea, China, Mexico and India.
The company has in excess of 600 employees globally, with 300 staff working from Berlin. Delivery Hero generates a turnover of approximately $400m per annum.
