
LGT’s Crown Co-investment Opportunities fund holds final close
Fund-of-funds LGT Capital Partners has held a final close for its Crown Co-investment Opportunities fund on $432m.
This is the manager's first dedicated co-investment fund. Its previous fund, Crown Global Secondaries III, closed on its $2bn hard-cap in 2013.
Investors
The investor base comprises 20 institutional investors, including pension funds, endowments and family offices. The investors hail from Europe, the US and the Middle East.
Investments
The fund will focus on small- and mid-market buyouts. It will invest alongside fund managers in the LGT Capital Partners network.
LGT has already completed 11 co-investments from the fund. In October 2014, LGT invested alongside Verdoso, Pragma Captial and Idinvest in Retif, a wholesaler of equipment to the retail sector.
